The 60-80 Holden Enthusiasts’ Club Inc. is an authorised participant in the Club Permit (Red Plate) Scheme as provided for by VicRoads in the Road Safety (Vehicles) Regulations 2009 and subsequent amendments.
The Scheme recognises the low usage of veteran, vintage, classic and historic vehicles and is a permit for the restricted use of an un-registered vehicle as reflected in the low fees.
The scheme also recognises the relationship between VicRoads and motoring clubs, and the importance of motoring clubs and their members in maintaining the propriety of the scheme.
The club permit scheme is only available to club cars of the 60 – 80 Holden Enthusiasts’ Club Inc. manufactured by Holden during the period 1 January 1948 to 31 December 1984.

Club permits will be available to financial members who :

  • Have been actively involved and financial in the club for a period of at least 1 year
  • Have attended 3 club meetings including the Annual General Meeting.
  • Have attended 2 car runs over a year.
  • Meet Vic Roads requirements.

Club permits are then renewed every year.  To qualify for a renewal you must:
